Every Film Is a Decision

Red Reel is a 2D film shop management game set in a fictional communist dystopia. You run a small state-controlled film shop where every film, every customer, and every decision can become dangerous.

Some films are legal and safe to sell. Others are illegal western films that can bring much more money, but also much more risk. Every week, films may suddenly become banned by the state. When that happens, you must decide: destroy them and lose money, or hide them and risk punishment.

At the end of each day, you return to your family. Bills must be paid. Food costs money. Playing safe may not earn enough. Taking risks may keep your family alive, but it can also attract suspicion.
